The Queen cage with a transparent lid is designed with two compartments for the queen and honey. It is used to introduce a new queen bee into a hive or to transport a queen bee safely. The transparent lid allows beekeepers to monitor the queen's behavior and condition. The queen is typically confined in the cage for about two days to allow the bees in the hive to become familiar with her scent and accept her as their new queen.
This queen cage is made of high-quality plastic and is ideal for introducing a new queen into a hive. The two compartments in the cage are suitable for holding fondant or other food for the queen and her attendants during transport or introduction. The cage can be easily placed among the frames in the hive for safe and effective queen introduction.
